Artists communicate using their art and music to make statements, spark dialogue, or respond to an issue. How can you use your art to bring awareness and social change? An artist, like a philosopher, uses their platform to express truths and principles of being, knowledge, or conduct. In this path we explore Nasir’s artistic expressions, music and cultural influences, and collaborations.
The participation of citizens is critical for a healthy Democracy and just world. Everyone can play a role in improving our society. In this path, we explore Nasir’s Queensbridge neighborhood and the social conditions that shaped and influenced him as a youth.
